We  awoke this morning, The sun shining bright.
Not knowing the day held such a plight.

Our world as we knew it came tumbling down
Our hopes and our dreams lay all around.

The evil people who have done us this wrong.
Have brought us together and made us strong.

Our father in heaven will see us through this.
 Our Family and Friends we will always miss.

We will look to the heavens and see you close by, 
but we will always wonder why you had to die.

May God bless America on this tragic day.

for lives that we have lost,
patriots paying AGAIN

Not one drop of blood
 taken by evil demand

The Day The World Cried

Life gone in an instant
With blasts of hate from air
Caught within a moment
This deed done brings despair

Contemplate this evil
What good has this deed done
Left us filled with hatred
This battle never won

Torn with mass destruction
Deliberate hate designed
For only in one instant
Deep sorrow for mankind

Families filled with horror
Hearts are filled with tears
Within us saddest moment
What purpose brings us here

Let us join united
To say a silent prayer
For those who were the victims
Their voices we must hear

People joining hands now
Creating biggest chain
Bringing forth a miracle
Where evil brought such pain

Innocent are dead now
What power does this give
Lost within the horror
But yet we all must live

Fear cannot bring power
For deep inside hate looms
The power of the people
In silent prayer resumes

Hands that reached so bravely
To help those find a way
With hearts of grateful nation
We bow our heads and pray

For all those who are lost now
On this most dreaded day
We pray that God will give us
The strength to find a way.

May the angels keep you till morning,
May they guide you through the night,
May they comfort all your sorrows,
May they help you win the fight.

May they keep watch on your soul,
May they show you better ways,
May they guard you while you're sleeping,
May they see you through your days.

May they show you new hopes,
May they still your every doubt,
May they calm your every fear,
May they hear you when you shout.

A MESSAGE 

I've cried to God as I've beheld 
The world wrapped up in fear 
Of  lack and death and war that looms 
To snatch lives held so dear 

I said, "My God! - Have you not heard 
The newsmen on TV?! 
Do you not know the shape we're in?! 
Do you not care for me?!" 

"I'm scared, Dear Jesus! - Help us! - Please! 
There's news of fear and war 
And I'm afraid, Lord - I admit! - 
Of what might be in store." 

"Peace, be still, My child," He said

Of those who, to Me, pray. 

"Keep your eyes upon ME now 
Not what you hear or see

There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning,
Some dark and cold
There is a spirit who brings the fire
Ignites his candle and makes his home

Run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn

Frustrated brothers,
see how he's tried to

She's been robbed and lied to
