Noah Michael Fake

Find A Grave Memorial

Robin Greinke, who was 26 years old at the time and Steven Neil, who was 33 years old at the time, sat down to eat pizza and watch a movie. Just a typical night? Not in this instance because while they ate and watched, a three year old boy was struggling to breathe after he was beaten by these two monsters. What could cause such abuse to take place:

"He peed his pants, he urinated in his pants and on top of a little alcohol use by both of them
and the possibility of some pills, they ended up beating Noah to death"
Detective Chris Dillon

A call came in that a child had stopped breathing and Orange County Fire Rescue as well as the Police went to the home of Robin and Steven at about 5:00 a.m. on March 1, 2011. CPR was given to Noah and he was taken to Dr Phillips Hospital where he died later that day.

It was first thought that Noah was suffering from and infection or Meningitis, however, after the autopsy showed that he had been beaten, Robin finally confessed that she and her boyfriend had beaten Noah by tossing, spanking and punching him the night before. Robin said she wanted to get him help the night before, but Steven had convinced her to wait until morning and they sat down to pizza and a movie. The Florida Department of Children And Families said that there was no history of abuse with the couple, but they were visiting from out of state and had previously live in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Noah was the only child in the home and Steven was not his biological father, though he does have a child of his own with another woman who had filed police reports in the past for domestic violence in 2008 before she divorced him in 2009. As well as domestic violence charges, Steven also faced charges of DUI in Illinois. Robin and Steven were taken away in separate police cars:

"They're going to jail and hopefully they won't ever get out"
Chris Dillon

Noah's grandmother describes his as a boy who loves carousels and garbage trucks. Noah loved to be outside hanging out in his pool or at the playground. Pulling weeds with grandpa, throwing rocks into the water, Yo Gabba Gabba, Mickey Mouse Playhouse and Wonder pets were also among the things Noah enjoyed. Noah was a fun loving boy who would play on the floor with grandpa, take a bubble bath and pretend he was a dinosaur. Grandma says that Noah was laid back and didn't like loud noises, he was happy, sweet, loving, caring and funny.

Robin and Steven were charged with first degree murder for what they did to Noah, who was almost four years old at the time of his death. At first, Police thought it was a medical emergency and after the autopsy showed different, Robin decided to tell the truth:

"After we got word that it was not a medical issue, the mother basically confessed to what had occurred"
Detective Jim Solomons

The arrest report says that Robin told police that Steven had beaten on her son for at least an hour, grabbing him and smashing his head into the wood part of a couch several times. Robin said that her part of the abuse was poking him in his chest, squeezing his cheeks hard and kicking him:

"There is an indication there was alcohol involved curing the incident and the word is the infant soiled
his pants, which caused one or both adults to become upset"
Jim Solomons

According to the initial report, Steven said he never touched Noah and had not been drinking or doing drugs. Robin said that Steven had drank beer and took prescription drugs before he started beating on Noah. Robin and Steven had come up with a story to tell police which involved Noah having fallen on the playground, in the bathtub and jumping around their living room. Steven didn't want to take Noah to the hospital and Robin said she stayed up all night claiming she could not sleep because she was afraid Noah would stop breathing. I guess she wasn't as afraid as she wants people to believe because if she was, she would have taken him to the hospital.

At the time of her arrest, Robin was being held on suicide watch and would not appear in a scheduled court appearance. Steven was in court and the judge denied bail and he was told not to have any contact with Robin at all.

In July of 2012, Robin Greinke plead no contest to the charge of aggravated manslaughter in a plea deal which included dropping all but that one charge and agreeing to testify against Steven. Robin received a SICKENING sentence of only 15 years. After her sentence, Robin would make a confession that she had been the one who had given her son the final blow that killed him, not Steven. Steven was then offered a plea deal and he accepted and will also do only 15 years for what was done to this little Angel.

It breaks my heart time and time again to read about the deals the killers of children are able to make. When will the courts start to realize that the life of a child is worth WAY more than they seem to believe it is? Children are not disposable, children are not replaceable and each life is precious and should be treated as though it is. Maybe some day there will be a law that says if you kill a child while abusing that child, you will go to prison for the rest of your life.
