Find A Grave Memorial

In another case where Prosecutors are calling it the worst case of child abuse they have ever seen, Steven Patrick Drouillard was seen by neighbors, laying on the sidewalk in front of his apartment wearing only a diaper, while Chad Wisnieski, his mothers 29 year old boyfriend, screamed for someone to help him. Christina Chadwick, who was also 29 years old, had left her boyfriend in charge of Christina's three children while she went to work.

Police arrived and Chad initially told them that Steven's injuries were from his older sister. Chad would eventually tell his version of the truth, which was that he had been playing very rough with Steven, the "play" included punching him in the stomach, pushing him around and throwing him up in the air. Steven was taken to Bayshore Medical Center where he died.

Police questioned Christina who said that she had noticed her son had bruises the night before but thought it was due to him being an "adventurous" little two year old. It's amazing to me how many children get massive amounts of bruising on their body in this very same way. (not the sarcasm there)

After the death of her son, Christina and Chad decided to move away to another town and in March of 2014 the couple were arrested in League City, Texas where they had moved from Pasadena. It took more than a year for these two people to be arrested for the death of this little Angel. Chad is not the biological father of Steven and said that his sister had beaten him and that after, he fell asleep next to Chad on the couch after and never woke up. At one point, even Christina was blaming her daughter for what happened to Steven. I can't imagine blaming a child, scaring them for life, for the death of their sibling. What kind of monster would do that to a child?

I guess people like Chad and Christina forget that autopsy results WILL tell the truth and this case was no exception. Steven had more than 200 bruises on his body, also present were teeth marks and internal injuries. How can THAT be explained by "playing" with a child? The Harris County Medical Examiner's report said that the cause of death for Steven was homicide.

Chad and Christina were being held on $50,000. bond each after being charged with felony murder and it was reported that this was not Chad's first encounter with the law since in the past, he had convictions for theft and possession of Marijuana.
