Riley was cremated and
buried in a hand made coffin. In the coffin with her remains was a pink
dress and a Stuffed Elmo, her favorites.

Pink balloons were
release after Riley's memorial service. Each balloon had a message in it
asking whoever found it to get in touch with the family and let them know
how far their love for Riley had flown.

A memorial was built
on the island where Riley's body was found.

.Riley's
name is added to the memorial cross.

On November 4, 2007
a prayer vigil was held for Riley, on the Island.
