My Forever
Friend
When the world had
forgotten me
there was one who
knew my name
when others told
me I didn't belong
his love for me
was ever the same
When deep in my heart
I felt so lonely
he was always there
to show me love
at times I was very
close to the edge
his arms they held
me from far above
On days when I could
not keep going
he took my arm and
walked me along
when I was lacking
the will to keep up
he whispered to
me that I was strong
When all the world
seemed so unkind
he said "My love
for you will never end"
I took his hand
and walked by his side
knowing in Jesus
I had a forever friend

Biblical definition
of Jesus:
(1.) Joshua, the
son of Nun(Acts 7:45; Heb. 4:8; R.V., "Joshua").
(2.) A Jewish Christian
surnamed Justus (Col. 4:11).
Je'sus, the proper,
as Christ is the official, name of our Lord.
To distinguish him
from others so called,he is spoken of as "Jesus of Nazareth" (John 18:7),
and"Jesus the son of Joseph" (John 6:42). This is the Greek form of the
Hebrew name Joshua, which was originally Hoshea (Num. 13:8, 16),but changed
by Moses into Jehoshua (Num. 13:16; 1 Chr. 7:27),or Joshua. After the Exile
it assumed the form Jeshua, whence the Greek form Jesus. It was given to
our Lord to denote the object of his mission,to save (Matt. 1:21).
The life of Jesus
on earth may be divided into two great periods,(1) that of his private
life, till he was about thirty years of age; and (2) that of his
public life, which lasted about three years.
WHAT IS JESUS TO
ME?
Jesus is my savior...He
was crucified willingly to
save me...and all
that is required of me is to live
my life according
to the rules set down to me by
his father...God...To
accept that Jesus is the
only way that I
can get to the kingdom of his
father.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto
him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me. |
God gave us the ultimate
sacrifice...His only
begotten son...so
they may live forever...
|
John 3:16
For God so loved
the;
world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life. |
We need only to follow
his commandments...

Exodus 20:
1And God spake
all these words, saying,
2 I
am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou
shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing
that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in
the water under the earth:
5 Thou
shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy
God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And
shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou
shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will
not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember
the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six
days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt
not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor
thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath
day, and hallowed it.
12
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land
which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13
Thou shalt not kill.
14
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15
Thou shalt not steal.
16
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour's
wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass,
nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. |
and the information
he left for us to use in
getting to know,
respect and love him...
The ONLY words that
he left for us...

Revelation
22:18
For I testify unto
every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of
this
book,
If any man shall
add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written
in this book:
Revelation 22:19
And if any man shall
take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away
his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book. |
Not so much to ask
for considering
what he gave up
for us...
