Where The Angels Dwell
Let me never wander far
from where the angels dwell
hear my whispers echo softly
when this tale I do tell
I walked along a path
where many have not tread
my thoughts were running
wild
seemingly I was being lead
By things that I could see
but not where I dared look
they came about in my minds
eye
stored in a magical
picture book
I followed in an angels footsteps
To a place not far from here
seeking out a quick release
although from what it was
not clear
The path I found myself upon
seemed it would never end
but peacefulness surrounded
me
and soon became my friend
It brought me to a clearing
where Angels dared to dance
I imagined that my discovery
had not been left to chance
Watching with tireless wonder
as they danced without
reserve
though I thought to join
them
I could not find the nerve
In an instant I was swept
away
by gentle hands whose had
they been
left alone to slip back into
sleep
wondering would I have to
wake again
