Seaside Love Story
Once upon a time, in a town
by the brook
There lived a handsome man
that was said to be a crook
Visitors asked, "What sort
of crook could he be?"
Friends, this man's story
begins by the sea
It is a sad story, I hope
you all know
Give the ladies a hankie.
Their sorrow will show
Well... here's how it goes
Long, long ago (two years
to the day)
This man went to the seashore
in a heatstroke like May
As he lay in the sand just
resting his head
He saw a young lady stroll
'round the bend
It was love at first sight
and the feeling seemed mutual
Here is the sad part.- She
was so beautiful
As the men flocked around
her, that man blew his top
Was his reason that righteous?
He loved her a lot
