When You Search For Peace

When you search for inner peace 
tell me where is it that you run
is it far beyond the misty clouds 
or behind the evenings setting sun

Does your peace come in a bottle
corked up to tight for you to pour
or have you found that suddenly
this inner peace exists no more

Can it be found tucked deep inside
where you dare not ever tread
with thoughts of peace forgotten
never heard for never being said

Just look deep withnin your self
 where the answers can be found
hold on tight to what you learn
inner peace it knows no bound

Just A Little Peace

Dear Lord...
Just send a little peace 
to get them through the day
Pass along some happiness 
to help them on their way

Let nothing they can't manage
upon their shoulders rest
Let them go to sleep tonight
without a burdened chest

Let angels sprinkle promises 
of a love that never ends
Please send down some peace
and aim it at my friends
