Let me
start by saying
that I am not a person who thinks that religiously I am always
right. I
do have my beliefs and do not push them off onto anyone. I think that
we all have our own views on religion and no one has the right to
criticize
others for what they believe. When asked what denomination I am, I
very
rarely answer. I don't feelthat it is important to know a person
denomination. I
am not trying to convince people that MY way is the best way.
Here is
what I believe....

Concerning
God and Jesus..
EPHESIANS
4:5
One
Lord, one faith,
one baptism.
|
I
believe whole heartedly
that there is a God and that Jesus is his son. I believe that Jesus was
sent to earth as the ultimate sacrifice by his father, to show us
exactly
how great and strong his love is for all of mankind. In stating
one
faith, it is my belief that God meant exactly that, ONE FAITH.
One
faith to me means
one faith in one GOD, not one
faith in one DENOMINATION.
There are many
denominations out there that honestly believe they are the only
denomination
that God accepts to be the one TRUE
religion. To believe that God gave
us all the ability to love him, but only gave some the ability to truly
love him, is extremely ludicrous by every definition of the word.
God has given all of us the ability to love him in an equal way. What
we
hold in our hearts concerning feelings about God, has nothing to with
which
church we attend or what denomination we are. THAT is where
faith
comes from, the heart, not the building we worship in or the people we
worship with. Faith is either something you have or don't have,
It
cannot be taught, it must be felt and believed in our hearts.

Concerning
Angels..
Psalms 91:11
For
he shall give
his angels charge over thee, to
keep thee in
all thy ways.
|
I
believe there are
angels all around us. They are here to watch over and protect
us.
People ask "Why do bad things happen
to us if there are guardian
angels?".
Well lets turn that around and say, "What
stopped me from getting
killed
in that car crash?", or "How
did I live if I was under water for so
long?"
or "What kept me from getting shot
when that man went crazy and shot
everyone?".
People
tend to look
at the negative and the positive gets shoved to the side. It is easier
for most to deal with the bad things that happen than to admit that
there
might just be a force stronger than fate helping to make the good
things
happen.
Have
you ever had
the feeling you are being watched and turned to find no one
there?
Have you ever glanced in your rearview mirror and saw someone there for
just a second then turned to look and no one was there? Have you
ever felt someone sit on your bed at night while you were sleeping and
the movement woke you up but no one was there? I am sure that at
some point all of us have had one ormore of these experiences. I
fully believe that these are our guardian angels. You can't
always
see them, but they are there.

Concerning
the Bible..
Luke 4:4
And
Jesus answered
him, saying, It is written,That man shall not live by bread alone, but
by every word of God.
|
The
bible is indeed
the word of God. However, the interpretation of the bible weather
it be any of the many different denominational bibles, is from man. We
have been given the bible as a guide or map of sorts from God to let us
know what it is he expects of us if we intend to be with him after our
death. As with denominations, there are many different
interpretations
of the bible. Many claim they are the only one with the TRUE
interpretation,
just as with the one true religion. It is my belief that as long as a
person
accepts Jesus as their savior and knows that he is the way to God and
follows
the guide set down by God called the BIBLE..then
they will be
okay.
There is no one true interpretation of the bible, only different
wordings.
Anyone who truly loves God in his heart and lives according to his
guidelines, accepting
Jesus Christ as their savior, will indeed be with him at the
time
of their death.

Concerning
those who judge others..
Matthew
7:1
Judge
not, that
ye be not judged.
|
.
I do not
believe that
I or any other person has the right to judge the actions of
another
person. There is one judge and that one is God. None of us has
the
right to look down on another person based on the way they have chosen
to live their life. If they are wrong then they will be judged by God,
but should not be judge by those of us here on earth. When we are
all without sin and we have become perfect in the eyes of God
then
we may cast judgment onto others, however, here on earth there is no
such
thing as the perfect person.
John 8:7
So
when they continued
asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without
sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
